So I had to go and buy a new microwave today, and the only place that had the one I wanted was John Lewis. Oh John Lewis – you make any day better and brighter. I do love that shop. Some might say it’s a sign of getting old but I reckon it’s a sign of wisdom.

I bought the microwave, bought some bin liners (Of course! Because I have a fancy pants bin that I can only buy liners for in John Lewis!). I bought some shoes, I bought an insole for my trainers, I bought and arm band thingy to hold my iPod in when I’m at the gym.

Last Stop: Haberdashery.

Where, hilariously all New Look patterns are on sale for a measly £2.95 each, so I got the dress pattern. I may even go back for more: the sale runs to the 24th September.
