Finally I cleared the desk. I put the books away. I recycled the drafts I’d printed out. I sorted through the paperwork and put it all away (and some of it was from March!). and then I took a step back and had a look at it.

So approximately an hour later I had this:

I felt as if I had to break the deadlock since I haven’t made anything for months. I was almost afraid of my sewing machine. So I made one of the cute little bibs from Bend the Rules with some left over AHenry fabric that I made a bag from last year. To be honest, the stitching is shonky as hell – I think if my sewing machine was a car I would have stalled twenty times – and I put the snaps on a little too far over, but hey, it’s a finished thing, and I think it’s cute. Now all I need to do is pinch my friend’s baby to test it on.

So now that’s done I’ve got to figure out what to have for dinner before we sit our arses down in front of the telly, because my Heroes DVD arrived from amazon.com today. I’m sorry I cannot provide any links to anything to do with Heroes: I can’t look it up at all on the internet for fear of spoilers, and if someone told me what was going to happen I would have to hunt them down and kill them. So you – yes, you who have seen all of season one – be quiet out there!
