Sneak Previews

Spurred on by Lisa I thought I’d show you the little moo cards I bought last month, since she has kindly arranged a discount for all us crafters via Craft Boom. People faster than I would have showed you sooner but I like to take my time/am very slow at finishing things, which is why I haven’t so far. Honestly though – they are just delightful, and I’m going to order some more along with some stickers.

(sorry subscribers – you’ll have to click through to see the picture)

So yes – I am dipping my toe in the craft selling waters, but gently, and very very slowly. Be prepared for announcement type things later on this week.

Meanwhile I’m finishing off a bag today, but slowly slowly does it. This is because my machine (yes, her again) is suffering from what I call snarly bobbin. It seems every time I set off the bobbin thread becomes a great tangled mass. Is it a tension thing? Hands up who doesn’t really understand tension. Oh, just me then.

How very, very gorgeous! They look excellent (as does the discount). I think the labels and stickers side of things makes setting up a little business seem very tempting indeed.

Poor you with your machine. No, I’m not sure I understand tension…my only input is that my first two machines (the first one I borrowed from my mother, the second a second-hand Singer) constantly suffered from locking bobbins, general thread tangle and all manner of other irksome problems…but my latest machine, bought about three years ago, has made about 14 pairs of curtains and numerous crafty projects and has rarely suffered from this…sometimes I congratulate myself that I must have solved the tension riddle, but I think it has more to do with the fact that certain machines are cheeky-spirited. But thankfully my current one is very reliable and possibly called Doris…

Hope you get it sorted out soon. x
