Bless you for putting your readers on the trail of that most gorgeous fabric on U-handbag in your last post. I have been looking for just such a thing in vain for some time now and have to admit to bouncing excitedly in my chair upon seeing it (and nearly breaking it, for it is a ricketty old thing!). But what colour to choose…brown or blue…or both???!!!

You should definitely go for it! I have two medieval dresses made from Simplicity patterns, though I have not as yet answered the door to the postman in them. They are a bit voluminous though – your regency outfit looks a lot more practical.
