One Month

Funny how some months are longer than others. Funny how some months make it hard to remember what all the other months were like.

mat

The beautiful play mat was made by my lovely friend Jo, and we’ve been enjoying it a lot. One of the squares asks ‘How many animals?’ and I can see us having a lot of fun answering that question. (OMG he’s already outgrowing that outfit…)

Thank you all so much for the congratulatory messages – they were so warmly received by both of us. I had thought that I’d reply to you all personally, but I’m afraid I’ve sacrificed keyboard time for cuddles, a trade off I’m sure you’ll understand.

The past month has been about a lot of firsts: pushing the buggy to the shops, eating lunch out, driving the car again, getting the bus, feeding out in public, trying to make it to an appointment on time…I still haven’t figured out how people with children are ever on time for anything, never mind attempt to do more than one thing per day.

fitz

But does it matter? Not really. Not when I have this little face to look at.

Congratulations – every day something wonderful happens, I have No. 2 now….time keeping is difficult! 4 1/2 yr old and an 8 month old makes it interesting.

Fitz is very cute and certainly much more important than the computer, but we do like hearing the progress and seeing your lovely family photos. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Ali.

Hiya!

Baby is so cute and growing so quickly. It’s good that you’re taking him out and about. I totally understand about keeping time with children. When my daughter was small it use to take ages to get out of the house, now she is the first one ready. :D

The quilted mat is lovely too, such a good friend.

Hello Jo, we all understand that you would rather spent your time with your baby than facing PC, but I would like to hear what you and your baby are doing some time if you could. Babies are so precious. Take care. Chloe Patricia

Glad to hear it’s all going well and to see pictures of your cutie pie. Getting somewhere on time takes great planning when they are tiny but nobody minds if you are late when you arrive with a scrummy baby!
Take all the time you can, they grow so quickly and the newborn days don’t last long.x

I am, of course, a wonderful friend! Just as long as noone looks too closely at the stitching on the mat!!
Longing to give lovely Fitz more cuddles, but will have to wait til my cold has gone. Delighted that you are getting out and about more – Joy King Lau here we come!!!

Gorgeous playmat (and fitz is pretty cute too!)

My boy is two and a half and as a previously very punctual person am still late for most things!

Super cute! The play mat is so fun too :D
My sister hasn’t been out for a while though she told me that her husband now has a swine flu so she had to flee to my eldest sister’s house for the time being.
It will be my nephew’s first time in bullet train! :D
